In know it's been a while since my last update, but the constant rain here in Austria stole my last bit of motivation and I took a longer break. Slowly that need to touch some rock, or at least plastic, is coming back and since it is fall and the bouldering season is about to begin, I thought I should feature a nice lil' traverse close to Graz.
[The Sonnendeck Traverse follows a line of good crimps all the way from the lower left to the upper right corner]
In my previous article I already showed some pretty cool climbs on a boulder called Sonnendeck, near Graz. The last line that was still pending was a traverse across the entire overhanging face. Really cool moves, just one or two painfully sharp holds at the end...
[A few athletic moves test the power in your shoulders]
[None of the moves are really hard, but it gets kind of long...]
Oh, and the grade? Roughly around font 8a. Here's also a short video of this really recommendable line!
